Over Weight is Worse than Smoking

The VA recently announced that being overweight may soon become the leading threat in preventable deaths.  Three fourths of all people seeking medical care from the VA are obese or over weight. Being overweight leads to risks of cancer, stroke, heart attack, diabetes, and high blood pressure. If you are one of them then you need to decide what your plans are for the future.

The Veterans Affairs (VA) has a program called MOVE23, which asks 23 questions about your about your life style. You can get your copy at your nearest VA office or by going to www.move.va.gov  There you can find out if their plan is right for you.

Hello snoopy055. Welcome to HP. I am glad to have you here as a voice of middle-aged conscience. Keep writing articles like this one.

BTW, you can put the www.move.va.gov link in a "link" capsule. And add some photos.

I am sure you will soon get the hang of making your hubs work even harder for you. Good luck. MM
